Embroidery Concepts, Inc. was started back in 1993. Patsy Sharbono, the owner, had been living and working in Houston as a Petroleum Engineer, but kept longing to return back to her roots in Grant Parish, Louisiana.  Through a series of events, she was able to see that desire come true as she was hired as the Plant Manager for a large apparel manufacturing firm in North Louisiana.  With training from a local embroidery shop owner, and exposure to embroidery and screen print embellishments, she and her husband decided to strike out on their own “back home”. 

They started with a single-head, nine-needle embroidery machine and have grown to several multi-head, 12-needle machines.  Due to customer demand, screen print and promotional products were added to the shop a few years later.

Today, Embroidery Concepts, Inc. is known as ECI where it has branched out to offer an expanded camouflage line of apparel, custom printing on tees and quilt squares, and working to offer an exclusive line of heat transfer designs.

Patsy is joined by her niece, Jessica, who serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, along with several wonderful ladies that work in the production side.

They are located just North of Alexandria/Pineville where they enjoy living and working in a rural environment.  Please never hesitate to contact the office if you have any questions or concerns about the shop and the products offered.
